Description : Hard Target 2 is a heavily guarded
			    military installation. Your mission
is to clear the installation of ALL
forms of life and to secure it for
the upcoming landing party and get
out alive, in one piece. It is a
			    trecherous and deadly solo mission,
but will provide a proving ground for
a hungry rookie trying to make a name
			    for oneself. Are you game?

Hard Target 2 features a few QC Mods
to add to the expierence. They include
			    an EarthQuake, Particle Field, Ejecting
			    Shells, Sparks, Destroyable Light Fixtures,
Damage Showing Skins on Player and Gyro's Bot.
A few new plug-in monsters too. They are
the Bazooka Babe, Manga Babe, Nun Sergeants,
and Drones. Also included is Gyro's
			    Indescisive Bot for DeathMatch play.
See below for instructions on how to play
			    against the Indescisive Bot.

Instructions for the Indecisive Bot...

You must be in Deathmatch mode to play
against the Indecisive Bot. Just pull
down the console (the ~ key) and type
"DEATHMATCH 1" (no quotes). That puts Quake
in Deathmatch mode. Then load Hard Target 2
by typing "MAP HRDTRGT2" (no quotes). To add a Bot,
type "IMPULSE 220" (no quotes) at the console.
Multiple Bots can be added. See GYROBOT.TXT
			  for more details.

* Instructions to Run *

To run Hard Target 2, create a directory off of your
QUAKE directory called HRDTRGT2 (c:\quake\hrdtrgt2\)
and put PAK0.PAK there

To run the level from the command line type...

quake -game hrdtrgt2 +map hrdtrgt2

and that will take you to Hard Target 2

Or use the console (~) and type...

map hrdtrgt2

To run the GyroBot from the command line type...

quake -game hrdtrgt2 +map hrdtrgt2 -listen

and that will start Quake in DeathMatch mode and load Hard Target 2.
Then type "IMPULSE 220" (no quotes) at the console to add one bot.
To make things a little easier, you might want to bind a key to that
impulse. Pull down the console and type...

bind b "impulse 220"

For you DOS Quake.exe users, you need to use the most current

Please respect my position as to not allowing distribution on a CD-ROM
of any and all type. Certian companies (Actura and Head Games) tend to
'net scrape' and then profit off of others work without obtaining
permission. Some companies went on to modify the net distributed levels
by retexturing them and not even notifying the authors as specified
in their txt files. I hope the above mentioned is reading this,
'Mr. Bonaduchey'. Bite me.
