Frame rate info	      : Although this map was made with extra care in 
			maintaining high frame rate, users of lower class
			486 machines will probably experience little lagging.
			I'm sorry about that, but nature of this map required
			large, wide open areas.
			If you get choppy frame rate with escape.map, try
			shuting down windows 95 and restarting in MS-DOS,
			or decrease the resolution (486 133 works fine in 
			320 x 240).

			If you have a pentium 90, have no fear.

Mission Briefing      : (48 hours ago)
			Transport plane was shot down near the Jung-pen. Your 
			duty was to inspect the area and try to find hard 
			evidence of Soviet missiles. It was suspected that they
			were used to take the plane down.

			NVA captured you and your friend Jackson by surprise 
			while you were diving into the swamp where the plane
			crashed. Jackson found some cargo in the relic, mainly 
			ammo and weapons. Rest of it was gone. 

			You are now held imprisoned.

			Firebase Embrio, sector Alpha

			TO: sector Alpha
			FROM: HQ

			tango sector under artillery fire - heavy casualties.
			extraction point jung-pen village - secure the 
			area for medevac - red priority

			(12 hours ago)
			Jung-pen Village

			Dozens of tracers ripped the cold night. Choppers, 
			engulfed in red flames, dropped from the sky.

			"Move, move, move! Wolves, secure the inner perimeter!
			Hawks, bring your big ass over here! Radio the base stat
			- someone screwed up royally! This place is too hairy 
			for Medevac!"

			"Sir! Charlie is using tunnels systems! One Huey 
			spotted the exit over there!" The soldier was pointing
			to the thick line of trees over the hill.

			One second later rockets hit the Bravo squad. NVA 
			invaded	before the mortars were set-up. Screams and 
			smell of burned	flesh everywhere. 


			(Present time)
			Small hamlet near the Jung-pen village.
			
			Jackson is dead. VC tortured him right before your 
			eyes.
			Finally his body was removed from the pole in front of
			the pit were you are being held.

			Only one guard was left in the barracks next to your 
			pit.
			He cleaned the knifes used to get informations out of 
			major.

			You watched him and you wanted only one thing: 
			to kill him.
			To revenge Jackson.
			Fat chance. They are going to skin you alive. 

			That lonely soldier was playing with your M-16. If you 
			could get to it... you may fight your way through to 
			the relic... afterwards... who knows. Jung-pen is near.
			You've heard sounds of the battle all day long.

			Silent hum of engines and high pitch of 500 lb bombs 
			interrupted you in thinking.
			Invaders - closing in.
			One last look at the soldier - he is hiding in the 
			barracks.	
			
			Now is your chance to escape. 
			


Hints		       : Watch your ammo. Find more before getting into fire 
			 fights. Explore the crash site, and later in the level
		         peek everywhere... you'll need every bullet you can
			 find. 
			 This level could be a litle tough at the 
			 beginning. Btw, I don't recommend diving in the pit 
			 when you start the map... it's not healthy... :)

			 Take cover. Stay low. Hide behind the walls. Throw 
			 bombs. Outsmart the bloody VC's, man!

			 Remember that mighty foot can kill too. 

			 If you get stuck in the village, search the entire 
			 area. Look in the bushes, look everywhere. 

			 U.S.S. destroyer Dallas has some cool features. 
			 Like 75 mm double barreled cannon.

* IMPORTANT INFORMATION *

Make sure you unzip ALL files to the Duke directory. PLT_DEFS.CON and 
PLT_USER.CON files are modified to include new sample. 
PLT103.MID is also replaced. Back up cons if you modified something.

I've hand picked the midi. Hope you like it :) 

Btw, I made the sample myself. It's unique so please ask if you would like
to use it.

Run the BAT file to start the map.
