* By popular request, How to use this MAP *

UNZIP all files to your duke3d directory and type olw and press enter. 
That's it. Any existing files will be backed up, then restored when you 
exit Duke. OLW replaces Episode 1, map 1.

* Description *
Duke's girlfriend Lani is the only living witness of a raid in his favourite
bar. A quick phone-call, and Duke knows that this alien-scum is involved once
again... Huge single-player map, containing a bar, a sewer, earthquakes, the
alien spaceship - but why do I tell you? Go and play the level !

Difficulty Settings     : No
Plutonium Pak Required	: No
New .CON Files 		: Yes, a new USER.CON, stolen from Matt Harris and
			  modified a little bit.
New Sounds              : Yeah! A pretty little sample from Finland's finest,
			  WALTARI, taken from the Multi-Media-Part of their
			  fabulous "Yeah! Yeah! Die! Die!"-Album. Will be
			  played at the end of the level, or if you switch on
			  the radio in the kitchen (for best results, turn
			  off the game-music when you get there).
New Graphics            : Yeah, an ART-File that enabled me to put these nice
			  little bullet-holes to the walls (just a decoration-
			  thing...)
New Music               : Yeah! Yeah! Die! Die! ...see above
Demos Replaced          : No, sorry about that... The game plays the old one
			  on your map, which sucks! Maybe I'll fix this one day.

* Construction *

Base                    : Scratch Level
Editor used             : BUILD
Build Time              : Well, I started as a young, up-and-coming man, and
			  now I'm an old fartknocker... really long, Dude.
Known Bugs              : Obviously none I know about, otherwise I would
			  have fixed 'em. BUILD itself causes a few problems
			  in my map:
			  1.) If you die one or even more times, the parallaxed
			      skies look messed-up. Doesn't infect game-play.
			  2.) I'm really sorry about that one: The mixer (?)
			      in the waterworks doesn't stop turning after
			      the big explosion.
			      For all you Builders out there: It is possible
			      to stop a turning sector by placing a reactor-
			      sprite into it. If the reactor is destroyed
			      during game-play, the sector stops turning.
			      (See one of the Original-Levels in Episode 2)			      
			      BUT: The explosion of the reactor also triggers 
			      every earthquake in the map, and so you wouldn't
			      be able to finish my map before you even started.
			      Doesn't infect game-play either; maybe I'm just
			      an exactness-fanatic...

Matt Harris A.K.A. MattCake (UK). This guy is definately the author of the best
Duke-levels ever made: The FTWOAP-Maps (Part 1 and 2). Believe me, they
are even better than the originals. I've learned a lot from his levels, and
he's got more good, new ideas in one level, than 3D-Realms had in the hole
game (aah, no, sorry, I shouldn't lay it on thick that much). Check em out!

Also thanks to Georg Buol from Austria. I've stolen the ART-File and the idea
with the damaged switches from him. Check out his THE_BASE.MAP, it's one of my
all-time-favourites, too.

And, last but not least, thanks to my charming life companion Silke for her 
patience.

Please don't use this map as a base for your own levels. Examine it, rip it
apart and learn from it but don't copy it. It's much more satisfying to 
start from scratch and you'll learn more that way too. Oh, and feel free to
put this map on any BBS, floppy disks, CD's, mags, etc. as long as no fee
is charged other than costs of copying.
