Description/Storyline: Okay. This is my fourth MAP so far...I guess I'm pretty competent at
this level designing stuff by now. It's good to see my older MAPS
getting so many downloads, considering just how short a time they've
been up on the webpage. Like I've been stressing for such a long
time now...I try my DAMNEST to release the very best levels that I can
concoct in this jumbled mind of mine. And for nearly garnering 100
downloads for NEMEDIA.ZIP & NEMEDIA2.ZIP combined in only seven days..
THAT is truly a great accomplishment. I'm not boasting here. I'm
just happy to see how fast my levels are flying off of DUKEWORLD's web
site. That inspires me to create more levels for the masses. I can
safely say to all of you to expect many...MANY more of my levels to
appear in the future, even though this trilogy is finished.

I enjoyed creating the Nemedian Trilogy and like I promised, the last
installment of my "Nemedian Trilogy" is more of everything you've
come to love from the first two. I REALLY pumped up the volume on
production here...ambient sounds...those door SFX (finally!), and
far more shading, level extensiveness, and overall interactivity.
I PROMISED you these things, my fans. And you have received them at
last! Honestly, this was THE most ambitious level design that I've
ever attempted...and the end result is far beyond my original
expectations. Nothing could be more satisfying than to see a project
take glorious shape. And even though not very original, this level is
easily my best work...maybe even better than my HIATON1 map for Shadow
Warrior...and THAT is one kick-ass level!!

Now, the third chapter of the story...

Duke Nukem remembers it clearly now. He was warped from his home in
Los Angeles...taken away from his fiance' Lani, and forced into a
strange new world, a world not too unlike his own. From the moment
he was summoned into the spacestation halls, he knew that there was
a much higher force behind his current complexities. So he went along
and destroyed all the alien scum...saving all of the residents of the
spacestation complex. But NEVER had he actually been OUTSIDE of the
thing. He was always cramped inside of the facilities...forced to do
battle, occasionally catching a confined outside area, totally
surrounded by cramped walls and hallways. But now...he'd just gotten
off of that subway & had gone into the Dukebutton Room. After pressing
the teleportation device, he suddenly found himself in a section of a
small urban area. He had no idea what to do next. But he still
looked down the seemingly endless roadway, regardless, and decided to
check the town out for clues. Why he was put there was beyond him. He
didn't understand one thing that was going on at the time. But he was
sure that Dr. Proton had a VERY NASTY trap set up for him right around
the bend. It was do or die time. Dr. Proton had to be the beckoning
force behind the shenanigans. "That HAD to be it," the Dukester
thought oddly to himself as he precariously looked onwards in that
HUGE city sector...hoping to eventually find a way to pursue that damn
bastard Dr. Proton and set things to rights. Or more importantly, to
reclaim his freedom, his life, his LOVER. These were things that Duke
                           Nukem sorely missed.

ARE THERE ANY QUESTIONS?? NO?? WELL OKAY THEN. THAT'S GOOD.

I shall rant on about this HUGE level I created in more detail now.
You are free to leave at any time. I'm not keeping you too long here
                           am I?? I hope not.

More textures. More extensive level design. More original
                           architecture...more enemies...more power-ups. More interactivity with
the enviroment...more texture usage. Cunning shading effects, pseudo-
lighting FX. Ambient sound effects. Defined starting music. All this
stuff...and MORE!! That's what you get when you download Nemedia 3:
Outside the Complex. You've waited a long time for a level made like
this. Be warned: I HAVE DELIVERED THE GOODS THIS TIME!! Heh. Hype
obviously is my forte', eh guys?? Well, you should see that. Heh.
Enjoy the level, friends. I enjoyed putting it together for you.
Sadly, it's the last "Nemedian" level you'll be seeing for quite some
time. Look for a DukeMatch level I'll create for Duke3d soon.
Bye for now, my loyal constituents.
                                                                             -Donaya L. Jackson

Demos Replaced : What demos? (That means "no", people)

* Construction *

Base : This level was created by yours truly, Donaya L. Jackson. It's
                          constructed from the ground up.
Build Time : With tweaking, debugging, and all of that taken into consideration,
this level only took me around the timeframe of 150 hours to build.
Editor(s) used : The Build Editor.
Known Bugs : Oh yeah, baby! Once again people, there are absolutely NO BUGS
in this level whatsoever! It's totally flawless in my opinion. You
might find a texture or two that's oddly aligned in the game, but I'm
only human. Don't expect divine perfection from me folks, because if
you do, boy you are going to be really pissed off at me and my work.

May Not Run With... : Any game that is not Duke Nukem 3D! HAH!!

* Copyright / Permissions *

For The Lazy Folks : If you don't feel like constructing you own level from scratch, or you
need to use an existing level to bypass some sorta bug that your copy
of BUILD has, then you can use this level as a base to build additional
levels. I don't care; all you're doing is flattering me. You should
really create your own stuff though.

                * You MAY distribute this MAP, provided you include this file, with
no modifications. You may distribute this file in any electronic
format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file
intact. Also feel free to imitate my "WILD" sense of humour, okay??*

                * You may do whatever you want with this file. Just play it first. *

* Where to get this MAP file *

HTTP sites : DUKEWORLD.COM--it's always there.

BBS numbers : none, I'm assuming.

Other Important Things : I would like to thank the Academy...whoa...I'M THE KING OF THE
WORRRRRRRRRLLLDDDDD!!! WHOOOOOOOO-HOOOHOOO!!! YEAHHHHHH! No seriously, I would just like
to say that for one...James Cameron's Titanic flick has won 11 Oscars...THIS is an immensely cool
thing! You should watch Leonardo Dicaprio's movies like a hawk! I hope that you enjoy my newest
effort. I had a helluva time making this "add-on level" for Duke Nukem 3D, and I hope you have
a kick-ass time playing it. Hah. Also, look for my "homage" to the original Nemedia MAP level,
NEMEDIA.ZIP, within the level itself. Consider it an Easter egg of sorts...heh. Just think
"cactus" while playing...you'll see what I'm referring to. Really. I'm serious.

PS: You know me by now...look out for Hiaton 2: Lo Wang's Fury AND a still-unnamed DukeMatch
MAP level in the near future!! They should be just as big, bad, and as TOTALLY kick-ass as the
levels were before them! You got that? Really? Well then...okay. And another thing: if you
wanna save the original DETHTOLL.MID default file, just simply back up the file, or rename it to
XPLASMA.MID to keep all of the original files intact. If you wonder just why I made XPLASMA.MID
the default music for my level is because I feel that this piece is the best synthesized sound in
Duke Nukem 3D, and it fit the feel of my level perfectly. Enjoy the modification, though!
                                                                                      1998 DJ
