Thank you, for downloading my Duke Nukem 3D map, Castle.map.

There are two items you should have gotten in this zip file,
this text file, Castle.txt, and the actual map, Castle.map.

This map, was pretty much designed for Duke Match play, however
I included some enemies, for fun in one player mode..the nuke
button (end of the level) is very easy to get to...and you
can actually finish the level in about 10 seconds, but what
fun is that? ;)

For new users- Copy the castle.map file, into your duke nukem 3d directory
and at the dos prompt, type, duke3d -map castle.map, and
run it, or, go into the duke setup, go to the choose user
level, and choose castle.map, and run duke.

Map name- Castle.map
Author- Adam Dugan (my first map)
Game version- 1.3D
One player difficulty- (if you kill all the enemies) Hard
Multiple difficulty settings- No
Duke Match enabled- Yes (designed toward this)
Co-op enabled- Yes
Weapons and items available- All except the Protective Boots.
Known Bugs- If you look at the light colored bridge, from
different angles, sometimes parts of it
disappear. Also, in the water surrounding the
temple, if you walk into the water ducking..or
at just the right angle ducking, it will kill duke.

**Extra comments- I designed this level, on a
486DX2 66 Mhz with 8 megabytes of ram.
(the minimal requirements for duke nukem.)
However, I designed it FOR Pentium class
systems, in some places on my 486, the frame
rate gets down to 4 frames per second!! :(

This map is VERY large, and is great for open combat, hiding
in shadows, or behind pilars.

This is my first real attempt at level designing, it was a long
slow process of learning Build, and actually making the level.
I attempted to design this level, as realistic as I possibly
could, so if you find any mis-aligned textures, or
un natural shadowing, or any such mistakes, or bugs...please
feel free to E-Mail me, at ronregan@ix.netcom.com I
would highly appreciate it, I hope to make the next one, even
better! :)
