Description           : Duke infiltrates the Rocketship launch bay and takes
                        off to the stars. Brand new unique effects.
                        Hundreds of hours spent on light and 
                        shading creates a very realistic map given the 
                        limitations of the build engine. 
                        Sectors over sectors, 4 and 5 story depths,
                        more gore, debris and some of the bad
                        guys have more lethal weapons! 
                        This map requires a fair amount of skill.

Instructions:

1. Make a copy of all your Duke3D con files and put them into a backup directory.
 Or, you can run backup.bat. It will rename your original con files to a .bak extension.
This is recommended as well as making a copy. Just type in 'backup' when you are
at your duke3d game directory C:\ prompt.

Abattoir levels requires the use of modified con files for various new effects as 
well as the ability to continue playing the game after bosses are killed.

2. Unzip the contents of abattoir.zip into your Duke3D game directory.

3. To run the levels, you can use the batch file abatt.bat
or simply load the map abattoir1.map with the command line parameter:

duke3d map abattoir1

There are a few secrets in the Abattoir levels.
Most notably is a secret wall in the lower sewer. Look for a
grey arrow pointing towards it underneath the water.
It eventually leads to a courtyard that is not acessible in single
player mode, but in the dukematch version (abattmatch.map) you can
roam free and even jump on top of a moving courier van in order to
snipe. 

You only have seconds after the rocketship takes off before you 
are incinerated by the red hot engines. There are 4 escape routes you
can take (You cannot jump out into the stars!) Choose the southernmost
escape route and fly straight up using your jetpack.
