@X0AIntroduction:
    @X0BFNLScan facilitates the search of the Fidonet-standard nodelist for a
    variety of criteria, enabling you to quickly and easily find other BBS
    systems in the Fidonet network.

@X0AGeneral Operation:
    @X0BSelect an option from the main menu (the options are described in more
    detail below). Enter the parameter that you want to search for; in the case
    of text searches, it is not necessary to enter the entire text. A fragment
    of a name or phrase is all that is required.

    At any time during the search routine, you can stop the scanning by
    pressing Ctrl-X or Ctrl-K, or force non-stop display mode by pressing
    Ctrl-N.

@X0AOptions:
    @X0DSearch nodelist by BBS name
        @X0BThis function will scan the entire Fidonet nodelist, attempting to
        match the BBS name in the nodelist to the BBS name (or fragment) you
        request.
    @X0DSearch nodelist by sysop name
        @X0BThis function will scan the entire Fidonet nodelist, attempting to
        match the sysop's name in the nodelist to the sysop name (or fragment)
        you request.
    @X0DSearch nodelist by city
        @X0BThis function will scan the entire Fidonet nodelist, attempting to
        match the city in the nodelist to the city name (or fragment) you
        request.
    @X0DSearch nodelist by area code
        @X0BThis function will scan the entire Fidonet nodelist, attempting to
        match the area code of the phone numbers in the nodelist to the area
        code you request.
    @X0DSearch nodelist by zone and net
        @X0BThis function will scan the entire Fidonet nodelist, attempting to
        match the network in the nodelist to the network you defined by zone
        and net number.
    @X0DSearch nodelist entries for text
        @X0BThis function will scan the entire Fidonet nodelist, attempting to
        match any field in the nodelist entry to the text fragment you request.
    @X0DToggle to long/short node display mode
        @X0BTwo modes of display are available, long and short. The default is
        short, which displays the address, BBS name, sysop name, phone number
        and node status. The long format adds a second line which includes the
        city and modem information, but is slightly slower scanning the
        nodelist. Note that the display mode has no effect on the scan
        parameters.
    @X0DToggle expert mode
        @X0BThrough this option the main menu display can be turned off, if
        desired.
    @X0DReturn to BBS
        @X0BFairly self-explanatory.
