Ok here it is: my two cents on Red Alert
You may or may not agree with me.

THINGS IVE FOUND for Deathmatches:
1.) DISPERSE YOUR ASSETS when deatmatching. Namely dont group
your powerplants together. Spread them out. All it takes is that
one nuke; and down go your AA guns or tesla coils. (basic military
stategy when going to war, this way one hit doesn't do as much
damage.)

2.) Migs seem best effictive in groups of 4 or 5.

3.) Best air defense is a defense in depth. Try positioning Rocket
launcer pickets around your base. By the time the aircraft gets to
its target, hes about dead for AA guns or sam sights.

4.) The most decisive point in the entire battle is right at the
beginning. Depending on your opponent depends on what you do; but the
point being harvesters and refineries. Know when to put in the money
for harvesters or rifineries. This is ALWAYS a critical decsion.
If you put the money in for them, and he hits you at the bigenning,
then you'll be at the weakest. Or if you just put down one refinery
and put the rest of your money into tanks you'll be strong at first,
but a little slower in building the base up; which can be fatal
at times. Speed is always cruicial when first starting a game.

5.)When playing Co Op, or team Deathmatch; the best ally combo
is the allies and the soviets. Put the two together you have a very
well rounded force. The allies are strong in the sea, and have
excellent special operations and insurgents groups. (spies & theives),
the allies have the best AA defense. Not to mention not being bad
in the air themselves (longbows aquire targets quicker and unload
quicker; which means less time over target.) While the soviets
have excellant ground forces, and air forces. Combine the two, and
its a tough act to beat. Try this for base defense: place turrets and
pill boxes at a gate, and back them with a few tesla coils.

6.) TEAM PLAY IS AWESOME.

7.) Mammoth tanks work excellant for clearing mine feilds. Get about
3 mammoths together and you can easliy clear a path for the main
attack force.

8. If your the allies, for every cruiser you make, you should back
him up with around 3 or 4 destroyers. If the subs don't go after that
cruiser, the migs most certainly will :)

There it is; my two cents. Its all that comes to mind right now.
Just thought i'd throw in a little advice.
