Delrina Announces First Internet Product to Take Full Advantage of Windows
95

Cyberjack Provides the Easiest Way to Get the Full Experience and Power of
the Internet

TORONTO, ONT -- September 7, 1995 -- Delrina Corporation (NASDAQ:DENAF,
TSE:DC), world leader in PC communications software, today unveiled Delrina
Cyberjack<tm> 7.0, an integrated feature-rich software product that makes
exploring the Internet easy for both the novice and the expert Internet
user. Written to take full advantage of the Microsoft<R> Windows<tm> 95
operating system, Cyberjack encompasses a unique Cyberjack GuideBook<tm> as
its central feature, for seamless access and navigation of the World Wide
Web and the rest of the Internet.

"Now that I'm connected, what can I do and how do I get there?"
The Cyberjack GuideBook functions as a personal Net resource. Like a card
catalogue, it is the entry point that provides some sense of order to the
vast wealth of information on the Internet. Cyberjack comes loaded with
more than 500 World Wide Web, FTP, Gopher, Newsgroup, and chat addresses
which are organized as objects in various file folders to make it easy to
sort and categorize sites of interest. To explore any of the sites, with a
simple click on the site name in the Guidebook, Cyberjack will activate the
appropriate Internet application (WWW, FTP, Gopher, etc.) to link directly
to the site -- without having to type confusing and cryptic Internet
addresses. At any point, users can click on a button on the toolbar and
save the site to the GuideBook. This site can then be dragged onto the
desktop for instant access or even sent as an e-mail attachment to share
with others.

"We view the Internet as a vast library where all the books have been piled
at random, and where there is no librarian or card catalogue to help you,"
said Delrina president, Mark Skapinker. "While Web browsers have made the
Internet accessible for novice users, they are not designed for downloading
files from a Newsgroup or FTP site, or chatting in real-time to other users.
To access the wealth of information available you need the proper tool
designed for that aspect of the Net. With our proven experience in building
software interfaces that make it easy for people to use their PC to
communicate, Cyberjack is our solution to creating some order on the
Internet so its easier to use. People no longer need to understand what
tool they need to locate information on the Net, they just need to know how
to point and click and Cyberjack takes care of the rest."

Cyberjack also features an "update" button. Clicking on it will connect to
a special Delrina server on the Net that automatically downloads the latest
and hottest collection of Internet sites directly to the user's personalized
GuideBook, as well as any updated code or maintenance releases.

More Than Just a Connection, Maximize the Experience and Power of the Net
Unlike existing Internet products that are mainly browser-based, Delrina
Cyberjack equips users with full featured applets including: a Web browser;
UseNet News reader; FTP (File Transfer Protocol) file transfer; Internet
chatting sessions (IRC -- Internet Relay Chat); e-mail via Microsoft
Exchange (the built-in e-mail client software in Windows 95); search
capabilities with Gopher and Archie; remote access with Telnet and more.
Each of the tools can be launched individually from the Cyberjack folder,
or the GuideBook toolbar, or by clicking on the object in a folder in the
GuideBook (as URLs are treated as OLE 2.0 graphical objects), or by in-place
activation through OLE 2.0 from within the tool itself. For example, if a
user finds a Web address in a Newsgroup, they can simply right mouse click
on the address and Cyberjack will parse the information, recognize it as a
Web page, and automatically activate the Web browser while taking the user
there.

"Cyberjack is the new approach to making the Internet more accessible for
the wider consumer audience while providing power users with unique and more
productive capabilities," said Marc Camm, desktop communications general
manager at Delrina. "We have harnessed Windows 95 to the extreme to
eliminate the old, cumbersome, command-laden way of working with the Net."

All the Cyberjack components have been crafted under Windows 95 and are
designed to work harmoniously with the operating system and each other,
providing a uniform interface and level of usability that has not been
delivered in any other Internet product. The software utilizes the built-in
TCP/IP stack in Windows 95, making connecting to the Internet very simple.
Users can use a previously established Internet access account or set one
up electronically with a local provider. Cyberjack also provides the novice
user with single click registration and access through a leading Internet
service provider, to be named at a later date.

In addition, Cyberjack will be Windows 95 compliant and Microsoft Office
compatible delivering such advanced facilities as object orientation, OLE
2.0 in-place activation, long file names, drag and drop, right mouse menus,
context sensitive help, ToolTips, the Microsoft Explorer file management
metaphor, and animated status icons. The novice and power user benefit from
complete integration with the operating system and the power of a
multitasking, multithreaded communications environment, so they can for
example, download files from an FTP site or Newsgroup, while "surfing"
between home pages on the World Wide Web.

"Delrina Cyberjack takes advantage of the multitasking, multithreading, and
OLE features in Windows 95, helping to enable users to easily harness the
full power of the Internet from their desktops," said Brad Chase, general
manager of the personal systems division at Microsoft.

Cyberjack 7.0 is expected to ship in November and will be available as a
standalone product with Delrina WinComm<tm> PRO 7.0 or as part of Delrina
CommSuite<tm> 95, which also includes WinFax<tm> PRO 7.0 (fax, paging and
e-mail integration), TalkWorks<tm> (voice messaging/telephony), and WinComm
PRO 7.0 (on-line data communications software).

Cyberjack 7.0 (with WinComm PRO 7.0) will have a suggested retail price of
US$129 (Cdn $159).
