NOTES ABOUT GRAPHICS LABEL FILES

     When a graphics image is labeled, JAWS analyzes
the image according to the use of color plains.  At
present, new graphics images must be manually added to
graphics files with the procedure described in the JAWS
Basics manual.  This means that if you develop a set of
graphics labels on a PC that uses 256 colors you cannot
use the same graphics file on a PC that uses a
monochrome display.  A change in the process for
labelling graphics may be introduced with future
versions of JAWS.
 
     The files that contain graphics images and their
labels are indicated below.  English language files are
located in the "\JFW\SETTINGS\ENU" subdirectory.
