After you have entered your message, the above command prompt will
appear. [O]riginal and [Q]uote will appear only if you are
    replying to a message.

[A]bort = GAP will ask you if you wish to abort. If you answer
yes, the message will be aborted and you will be
returned to either the main command prompt or back to
                   reading mail.

[C]ont = Continue entering text. GAP will return you to the exact
                   place you left off.

[D]elete = GAP will ask you which line you wish to delete. If you
delete a line, all the text entered AFTER that line will
                   move up one line.

[E]dit = GAP will ask you which line you wish to edit. After you
enter a number, your cursor will be placed at the beginning
                   of that line.

                 The Editor Sub-Functions Are:

               [Ctrl F] = Forward [Ctrl B] = Backward [Ctrl Y] = Delete Line
               [Ctrl D] = Delete [Ctrl I] = Insert [Enter] = End Edit

Ctrl F moves the cursor forward one character.
Ctrl B moves the cursor back one character.
Ctrl Y deletes the line and place the cursor at the
                       beginning of the empty line.
Ctrl D deletes the character under the cursor.
Ctrl I inserts a space at the current cursor position.
                 Enter terminates the editing process.

Please keep in mind that if your communications program
filters out control keys you will NOT be able to utilize
                 the editor functions.

Also, if your communications program ALWAYS adds a line
feed to each carriage return that it receives, then the
line being edited may appear on your terminal more than
                 once.

[F]ile Attach= If the sysop has enabled this feature for your security
level, this option will appear in the prompt.

File Attach allows you to attach a file to the message
you are entering. Only the person to whom the message
is for will be able to download the file.

[I]nsert = GAP will ask you where you wish to insert a line. After
you have entered a number, GAP will insert a blank line
                   at the location you specified.

[L]ist = GAP will show you what you have entered so far, line
                   by line.

[O]rig = If you are replying to a message, this command will
allow you to review the message being replied to.

[Q]uote = If you are replying to a message, you may quote some
or all of the original message. To quote a single
line of the message, type the line number. To quote
a range of lines, type the range of numbers using this
                   format :

                      1-4 or 5-10

Note that there are no spaces between the dash.

[S]ave = By typing [S], your message will be saved. After you use
this option, you cannot change your message.

[SC] = Save Carbon. If the sysop has enabled this feature, you
may send your message to a number of people by "carbon
copying" the message. GAP will ask you who you wish to
send a carbon to. You may then enter a name and a carbon
copy will be sent. If you don't wish to send a carbon,
just press [Enter] and only the person the message is
                   addressed to will receive it.

                   NOTE :

It is not possible to send carbon copies AFTER the
                     [S]ave command has been used.

Only Private messages can be carbon copied.

If the sysop has turned on the name validation feature
the person receiving the carbon copy must be a user
                     of the BBS.

[H]elp = Will display this help file.
