1. Introduction

Rexxit is a special editor for Rexx programmers with additional
functions for easy, fast, and error-free Rexx programming.
        These are:

        - Three different methods to run your program from the editor,

        - word-sensitive help for Rexx commands,

        - the facility to insert Rexx commands via context menu,

        - full implementation of VRexx and RxMathFn,

        - the facility to insert subprograms via context-menu,

          and many, many more!

2. Installation

Your version of Rexxit is bilingual. You can choose between English
and German. There are two zip files: English.ZIP and Deutsch.ZIP.
Simply unzip the file with your favorite language and your Rexxit
        installation is complete.

3. First Steps

Rexxit has the same facilities as "normal" editors.
Most of them should be selfexplaining. Nevertheless context
sensitive help is available everywhere in the product.
        Just hit the F1 key.

4. System Requirements

Rexxit offers in its context menu rexx statements which are
new in Warp, so don't insert them if you want to use the
Rexx program under 2.x. Rexxit needs 350K free space on hard
disc without the Vrobj.dll(2.1b) and 1.2MB including the Vrobj.dll.
To run Rexxit the Vrobj.dll must be placed in the working directory
or in a directory specified in your config.sys LIBPATH statement.

5. Troubleshooting

        - If no context sensitive help is available...
Then: Put the Rexxit.HLP file in a directory specified in
          your config.sys BOOKSHELF environment variable.

6. Registration

        Rexxit is shareware.
This means, that you have a trial-period of 30 days, after
which you must decide whether you want to continue using this
product and pay for it, or if you delete it.

Registration fee is 30 DM. For additional information see the
        online help.

7. Other

Possible new features in future versions:
                - file ring
                - configurable buttonbar
                - full implementation of Object-Rexx
                - search and replace functions (currently not implemented, cause: a
                  bug in Vx-Rexx)

8. Known Bugs

      - LINE NUMMBERS ONLY CHANGE AFTER A MOUSECLICK
reason: Bug in Vx-Rexx. Watcom does not react, but
if they fix it, me, too.
