                         MOBIUS DRAWKIT EEP !!
                         =====================

I am pleased to announce that the Early Experience Programme(EEP) for Mobius
DrawKit is now available. If you are receiving this, you are one of the
people that requested information on one or more Mobius products. Thanks for
waiting patiently. Note that there are some questions at the end for those of
you interested in Business Builder and WinG SpriteKit.

The DrawKit EEP will be distributed electronically via CompuServe as a binary
zip or a UUEncoded zip as a text file via the Internet. If you decide to
purchase the EEP, you will receive the DrawKit component DCU's, sample
programs and the DrawKit help file. You will also be sent regular updates as
and when they become available and the final shipping product free of charge.
You will also receive source code with the final product, or perhaps even
before :-)

The price for the EEP is US$99 or UK 70. Unfortunately, we can't take credit
card orders because we've not yet jumped through all the hoops and filled in all
the forms and seen all the people and been processed etc. etc. that the card
suppliers require for a credit card merchant account. So for now payment
should be made by check - US$ checks will do nicely. Alternatively, you can
pay by international money order if you really want to<g>.

There is a 30-day money back guarantee - no questions asked. Well, except
maybe who to make out the return check to<g>. Support will be by direct e-
mail to my CompuServe address: 100140,2420 or my partner Ian Marshall: 73563,533.

If you have any questions or comments, please e-mail these to me. I know
you're going to ask about a demo and we are uploading one to CIS. If you're
desperate to see it now, I can mail it to you. Otherwise, I look forward to
your orders. Please send these to the address below.

Some Questions for YOU
======================
Now that we have DrawKit out the door, our attention is going to turn to
Business Builder and WinG SpriteKit. Both are still incomplete but I have
been asked by many people for an early version. I would like to ask for some
feedback on this. Currently Business Builder has several tables coded,
including Customer, Supplier, Sales & Purchase Orders, Sales & Purchase
Invoices, Staff, Inventory, Sales Tax. The experts are not yet finished but I
would consider releasing the product with sample forms to let you evaluate
and test it. You can of course create your own forms and reports using the
tables without any problem and without writing code. What do you all think?
By the time you reply, the form expert will probably be able to generate
several of the forms but you can get these as sample forms anyway.

The state of play with WinG SpriteKit is that the WinG API interface is done,
the WinGCanvas is done, the WinGSurface component is done and the
SpriteSurface and sprites work in a rudimentary way - movement including
acceleration and animation are done but I have to sort out some palette
problems and put in better collision support and we plan to do path and
animation property editors etc. and of course a few experts. I need to add
and change quite a lot to the sprite side but the basic WinG stuff works fine
and, because the canvas is done, you can do more or less anything you need to
with WinG. What I need to know is how many of you would like to get SpriteKit
as is at the moment and receive the update to the sprites later?

Thanks for your attention.
