          Name: ButtonFile v1.0
          Easy database with ready-to-go templates
ButtonFile is a Windows database built on a
deck-of-cards motif. Design your own deck, or use
any of the predefined decks you get with the
                 package: business contacts, Rolodex, video
library, credit cards, home inventory, music,
recipes, mailing lists and more. The graphical
interface and toolbar make this program super-easy
to use: sorting, searching and printing are
effortless. Also included are more than 100
predefined forms for printing to common envelope,
card and label (including Avery label) styles.
Supports popular data formats for import and
                 export.

          Name: InfoTree v2.2
          A database for freeform notes
Do you have information that doesn't easily fit
into a structured database? Project notes,
recipes, research tidbits? InfoTree gives you a
way to structure freeform information but still
keep your creative edge. It uses a folders and
notes metaphor that works a lot like popular
outliner programs. Consider folders as an
outline's main topics and notes as the subtopics.
You can collapse the structure to see only the
folders, or expand the structure to see all the
notes contained within them. The difference
between InfoTree and an outliner is that you can
store much, much more information in the "notes."
(A note can even be a linked document.) Need to
pull out a particular piece of data? Just search
for text strings. Or, if you've previously
assigned keywords to a note, you can perform a
keyword search. The program is very graphical,
making most functions available from a toolbar. At
the left of the screen are icons representing
folders and notes. Click on a note icon and you'll
see its text in the Editor window at the right.
InfoTree lends itself to many uses. You could use
it to store recipes, keep home inventories, record
project notes, create knowledge bases, or to serve
as a document manager (front end) for DOS files.

          Name: BusinessCards v2.1
          Free-form text database for Windows
BusinessCards is useful for keeping track of
                 textual information: names, addresses, hobby
collection info, articles, reports, memos, etc.
The program lets you decide how to present and
organize information, since there are no
predefined forms or record layouts. It uses a
toolbar and folio-like interface resembling a
paper notepad (with alphabetical tabs). What's
most exciting about this product is that it lets
you attach external files (like text files,
                 word-processing documents, Excel worksheets, even
Windows help files) to a "card" -- and even launch
executable files. Attachments show up as a blue
"paperclip" clipped to a card; just click on the
clip, and a list of the attachments appears, ready
for your double-click to launch. Cool!
BusinessCards can read and write Windows' Cardfile
files, which should ease conversion worries.
                 Includes report and envelope-printing functions.
