SHORT BLURB ON THE DVORAK LAYOUT IN SPEED

One side feature that Speed incorporates is the ability to allow you to
type in the innovative Dvorak key layout rather than the rather stodgy
Qwerty.

Back in the 1930's a professor Dvorak made a scientific analysis of
what keys and key combinations are struck the most and then
rearranged the familiar Qwerty layout to a new one designed to allow
faster and more accurate typing.

It's beyond my purposes to teach Dvorak; several sources do an
excellent job. One particular one is the typing program "Mavis Beacon
Teaches Typing!" Version 3 for Windows, which is great for learning
touch typing in both Qwerty and Dvorak.
