                         Frequently Asked Questions
                              about Super Dial

1. Q - How do I use the keypad to make touch tone (voice mail) sounds?

A - From the main screen, press the F8 key until the word YES
appears across from the F8 on the screen.

2. Q - Sometimes when I use the keypad to make the touch tone sounds,
The voice mail system on the other end doesn't respond or tells
me that I didn't press the numbers right. Why?

A - This is a problem between the voice mail system and your modem.
The voice mail system at some businesses are not very sensitive
and don't respond very well. Even though you have done
everything correctly, the touch tones were not interpretted
correctly. The fix: simply retype the numbers and press ENTER.

3. Q - My modem is connected to COM3 (or COM4). Can I switch Super Dial
        to use COM3 (or COM4)?

A - No. The programming software that is used to make Super Dial
only allows for the use of COM1 or COM2. Sorry.

4. Q - Can I use Super Dial with Windows?

A - Yes. Plus, if you press the ALT and TAB keys simultaniously, you
can cycle between any of your programs in memory. This does require
additional RAM memory to work properly.

5. Q - I want to alphabetize the telephone list. Is that possible?

A - Yes. From the main screen, press the F1 key. This will open a
window on the right side of the screen. Move the highlight bar
to the line that says "Sort the telephone list" and press ENTER.
The reason that the line says "sort" and not "alphabetize" is that
you are not limited to alphabetizing the list. You can perform
five more operations that will arrange the list to your liking.

6. Q - I want to have a print-out of the log. How do I do that?

A - You need to load the file called "SD.LOG" or any other ".LOG"
file into a word processor and make a print-out from there.
