1-28-94 LC Modems

The new smaller LC (Low Current) VFX/VFP v23bis and V-fast modems, are
for most purposes the same as the old larger V32bis modems. Because of the
fewer ROMs used and requiring fewer support parts, it uses much less power
and costs less to make.

Only two functions are missing, Syncronous mode, and 'Reverse' dialing
which are used by less than 1/1,000 users. So you don't have to pay for
something you will never use, resulting in more $aving$ for you.
They also do not turn the 2nd jack OFF when being used. If you need
the 2nd jack disabled when the modem picks up, buy the V32bis Voice-
faxmodem. List price difference is $70, but retail is much closer.
