NAVAL RESERVE OFFICER TRAINING CORPS MARINE OPTION
----------------------------------------------------

NROTC-MARINE OPTION
-------------------

The Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Program was founded
in 1926 as an additional route to becoming a commissioned officer
in the United States Marine Corps. The program will educate and
train you one day per week during the school year and for a
six-week increment each summer. The goal is to create a leader
of Marines. At the same time, it is the opportunity for you to
learn about the Marine Corps, see it with your own two eyes, and
do first-hand what Marines do on a daily basis. Following
graduation, you have a guaranteed professional occupation, which
will provide you with the type of training and leadership
experience employers are looking for, in today's competitive
