TimeSheet Filler v1.31
-------------------------

Fed up with the weekly (annual?) ritual of filling in time sheets, trying
to work out what you did the past week and get it to add up to the
right total?

TimeSheet Filler helps to automate that process, automatically remembering
your name, department, employee code, and your regular codes and
descriptions. It will also automatically work out the period of the last
sheet, and set the start and end dates for the next time sheet.

Most of the controls are standard Windows, and obvious in their use. A
couple of less obvious tricks are:-

Double-click on the total hours box to adjust the hours for each code
up or down to reach the target hours specified in the setup window.

Double-click on the start date to move back one period (default 7 days)

Double-click on the end date to move forward one period (default 7 days)

The setup box can also be used to delete unwanted codes, and to switch on
automatic code capitalization. The INI file which keeps all the values is,
by default, stored in the the directory TimeFill is launched from; to specify
a non-standard lcoation, for example if sharing TimeFill on a network, put
the directory path as a command line parameter in the Command Line box
of the Program Item Properties dialog box.

If you like it...
-------------------

You'll be acquainted with the concept of shareware, where if you like a
product it's hoped your conscience will prick you into paying for it
( usually with the help of suitable reminder screens). TimeSheet Filler
works a little differently - if you like it sufficiently to wish to pay
something for it, then send a donation to help not just your own conscience,
but a prisoner of conscience too, by helping the work of Amnesty
International. There are no beg screens: it is hoped that the knowledge of
people suffering tortue, solitary confinement or execution for the simple
exercise of their human rights, should be enough incentive.

Update History
--------------

v1.31 Now closes down all windows and updates INI file if the close
button (Win 95) or close option on control menu (Win 3.x) is
used instead of the Exit button to close down TimeFill.

v1.3 No longer requires SPIN.VBX
Added Export... and Font Selection buttons

Possible problems:

TimeFill relies on three other files being present on the search path:-

VBRUN300.DLL
GRID.VBX
CMDIALOG.VBX

The versions supplied in the ZIP file are the latest available from
MicroSoft at the time the EXE file was produced. If there are older
versions of these files on your path, these may interfere with TimeFill
and should be removed in favour of the current releases.
