                              ABOUT THIS VERSION
*******************************************************************************

Corrected a bug which did not properly handle galaxy carriers. They are now
treated as depots so they may contain multiple units.

SPECIAL KEYS ADDED TO THE GAME!!!
*******************************************************************************

Here are some special keys I added to this version in case you want to change
all the units owned by a particular player. It will change all the units owned
by the same owner of the CURRENT UNIT #. I like using the RAISE EXPERIENCE key
on all my units to help give them the edge in the more difficult levels!

F7 = CLEAR MOVED bits for all units owned by current unit's owner/player

F8 = SET MOVED bits for all units owned by current unit's owner/player
(This means this players turn will be over)

F9 = LOWER QUANTITY to 1 for all units owned by current unit's owner/player

F10 = RAISE QUANTITY to 8 for all units owned by current unit's owner/player

F11 = LOWER EXPERIENCE to 0 for all units owned by current owner/player

F12 = RAISE EXPERIENCE to 8 for all units owned by current owner/player

                                   OVERVIEW
*******************************************************************************

NECTARIS is a great strategic war game but I found some of the levels to be a
a bit unfairly stacked against me so I created some programs to help even out
the sides making for better game play.

Before I was mostly relying on luck and saving/restoring my games to make it
past some of the harder levels but with this same game editor you can
add/delete/change any of the ground/air/sea battle units in your game.

It also has a handy feature to easily add or remove units from depots.

The game editor will create a backup of the saved game file with .OLD as the
file extension should you find you want to restore the game file. This gets
overwritten each time you run the game so rename it again to keep it safe.

I testing this editor out for a while and it seemed to work great but you may
still find some things don't work correctly. Keep in mind that the method they
used to save the game information was a little complex (i.e. depots) so please
excuse any oversights. I will release new versions as correction are made.

                             HELPFUL INFORMATION
*******************************************************************************

- There are 21 save game slots available. You may create games with levels
you have not reached yet BUT when you restore you will most likely have to
SURRENDER then save game again to restore the default unit placements.

- There are MANY levels. In general they divided like so:

                             REVOLT = LEVELS 0-32
                           ROMULOUS = LEVELS 33-64
                           PACIFICA = LEVELS 65-99
MULTIPLAYER MODE MAPS = LEVELS 100-107

- There are 250 unit # or unit slots numbered from 0-249 which means you may
have up to 250 units active per game including depots and units in depots.

- There does not seem to be any limit to how many units can be assigned to a
depot beyond that on to total number of units allowed in a game.

- If more that one unit occupies the same location as another the unit
with the GREATER unit # will prevail. I have two X & Y location change modes
which will allow you to SKIP or NOT SKIP occupied locations when moving
units around. I suggest using the NOT SKIP move keys unless you mess up.

- I didn't have enough screen space to explain some of the commands so here
  is a better explaination...

Mem = Memorize the current unit # so you can COPY it to another

Copy = Copy the memorized unit information to the current unit #

Dupe = Create a duplicate of the current unit # to the next available
unit slot (if one exists) change the location as needed.

Erase = Remove the unit from the current unit # and skip to the next
unit # (I added the skip to easily wipe out multiple units)

Find = Allows you to enter a string to Find in the unit's name, type
or description to help you location a particular unit.

Again = do the last Find command again starting with current unit #

Goto = Goto a particular location and find which unit is there.

Prev = Find the unit information in the previous unit slot skipping
over unit # slots which are blank.

Next = Goto the next unit # slot which has an active unit in it.

Restore = Restore the saved game data file (all game slots) to the
original data file from when you first ran the editor.

Save = Save the current game data file and exit the game editor.

ESC = Abort the changes made (Restore) and exit the game editor.
