Hello to another soft chocolate chip cookie lover.  I thought I was the
only one left in the world after my sister stopped doing cookies and
coffee on lazy Sundays.

In answer to your question...  you could try reducing the cooking
time.  A minute or two should work just fine.  I found that putting
them in storage before they completely cooled worked well too.
It keeps evaporation down.  Don't let them sit too long in storage
though, because the excess moisture can cause mould (although to a
true lover of soft chocolate chip cookies that should pose no
problem <BEG>)
