MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02

      Title: Scones

      Yield: 1 servings

      2 c  all purpose flour
      1 tb sugar
      1 tb baking powder
    1/2 ts salt
    1/4 c  butter
    1/3 c  milk
      2    eggs

Sift flour.  Then sift again with sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut butter into dry ingredients.  Beat the milk and eggs together.
Stir into dry ingredients and blend thoroughly.  Turn out on a
floured board and knead half a dozen times.  Roll dough out to
1/2 inch thickness.  Cut into 2 inch rounds.  Preheat frying pan
but do not grease (cast iron is best).  Place scones on pan
surface and heat for 10 minutes at low to med. heat setting, turn
and heat on the other side for 10 minutes.
