MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02

      Yield: 1 servings

      2 c  tightly packed light-brown
           -sugar
      1 c  white sugar
      1 tb white corn syrup
    3/4 c  milk
      1 tb butter
      1 ts vanilla
  1 1/2 c  chopped walnuts

Place sugars, syrup, milk and butter in saucepan over medium
heat.  Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.  continue
cooking, without stirring, until mixture reaches soft-ball stage
(240 degrees on candy thermometer).
Remove from heat.  Stir in vanilla and nuts.  Beat until mixture
is very thick and has begun to lose its gloss.  Pour into prepared
pan.  Let cool at least 1 hour.  Cut into approximately 1-inch squares.

:               8-inch-square pan, generously greased
Setting time: 1 hour
Quantity: About 2 1/2 pounds
Storing: Layers in airtight container for 10 days
