  1 1/2 t  Active Dry Yeast
    1/2 c  Mashed Potato Flakes,or buds
      3 c  Bread Flour + 2 Tbs
  1 1/2 t  Salt
      2 T  Sugar
      5 oz Warm Water
      2    Eggs
      4 oz Warm Milk
      1 T  Butter

      1 t  Active Dry Yeast
    1/4 c  Mashed Potato Flakes,or buds
      2 c  Bread Flour + 2 Tbs
      1 t  Salt
  1 1/2 T  Sugar
      3 oz Warm Water
      1    Egg
      3 oz Warm Milk
    1/2 T  Butter

  Put ingredients in pan in the order suggested by mfg.

  NOTES: This bread was originally made with real mashed potatoes. For the
         sake of simplicity, I developed a recipe using mashed-potato
         flakes. It retains the excellent flavor and light-yellowish color
         of the original.

         1. For Panasonic/National machines, use 3 tsp of yeast for 1 1/2
         lb loaf.
         2. For Toastmaster machine use setting # 3, Basic (light)
