      Title: Pretzels (Homemade)

      Yield: 6 servings

      2    Eggs, separated
    1/4 c  Butter, softened
      2 c  Flour

  salt and pepper milk coarse salt

  Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry.  Beat egg yolks until
  lemony. Wor, with hands or spoon, the butter and egg yolks into the
  flour. Fold in beaten egg whites. Season with salt and pper. Roll
  out. Slice and shape as desired.  brush pretzels with milk and
  sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake on cookie sheets in preheated 350 F
  oven for about 10 minutes, turning once.
