      Title: Korean-Style Flank Steak

      Yield: 18 servings

      1    1 1/2 lb. lean flank steak
    1/4 c  Green onions, finely chopped
    1/4 c  Low-Sodium soy sauce
      2 tb Sugar
      2 tb Sherry
      1 tb Dark sesame oil
      1 tb Water
    1/4 ts Coarsely ground pepper
      4    Cloves garlic, crushed
           Vegetable cooking spray

  Trim fat from steak.  Combine steak and next 8 ingredients in a large,
  zip-top heavy-duty plastic bag.  Seal bag; marinate in refrigerator 8
  hours, turning bag occasionally.
  Remove steak from bag, reserving marinade.  Place on a rack coated with
  cooking spray; place rack in a roasting pan.  Brush reserved marinade over
  steak.  Broil 4 inches from heat 7 minutes.  Turn steak over; brush with
  marinade.  Broil 7 minutes or until desired degree of doneness; discard
  remaining marinade.  Cut steak diagonally across grain into thin slices.
  Serve with commercial French Rolls and honey mustard.
