      Title: Jalapeno Cheese Bread

------------------------------1 1/2 POUND LOAF------------------------------
    3/4 c  Sour Cream                               -(4 ounces)
    1/8 c  Water (For Welbilt/Dak bread        3 tb Jalapeno pepper, fresh,
           -machines add 2 T more water             -seeded & chopped (about 4)
      1    Egg                                      -or canned diced jalapenos
      3 c  All-purpose or unbleached       1 1/2 ts Red Star active dry yeast
           -Flour                                   -Note: for 1 1/2-pound
  1 1/2 ts Salt                                     -Panasonic/National-use 3 t
      2 tb Sugar                                    -yeast and 1 1/2 pound
    1/4 ts Baking soda                              -Welbilt/Dak-use 2 t yeast
      1 c  Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated

    1/2 c  Sour Cream                        1/4 ts Baking Soda
    1/8 c  Water (for Welbilt/Dak add        3/4 c  Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grate
           -1 tablespoon more water                 -(3 ounces)
      1    Egg                                 2 tb Jalapeno peppers, fresh,
      2 c  All-purpose or unbleached                -seeded & chopped (about 3)
           -Flour                                   -or canned diced Jalapenos
      1 ts Salt                            1 1/2 ts Red Star active dry yeast
  1 1/2 tb Sugar                                    -for all bread machines

  Place all ingredients into bread pan, select a light crust setting and
  press start. After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on
  cake rack and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing.

  Note: A favorite in the Thompson house
