I have been trying to find a really good recipe for a mild vinagarette
dressing, something like "Vinegarette aux Fines Herbes". If you have somethin
on file that you really like I would like to give it a try. Many thanks!

͵ Here Is What The Khan Thinks 

     Fines herbes is a particular set of herbs.  Parsley, chives, chervil,
and tarragon.
  A good proportion to add to vinegar and oil would be 4 tablespoons fresh
parsley(flat-leaf Italian Parsley is much preferable to the curly leaf
parsley), 2 tablespoons each fresh chives and chervil, and 2 teaspoons fresh
tarragon.  Fines herbes is particularly suited to egg-based dishes, as well as
making a nice vinegarette.
     Depending on the quantity of dressing you are making, you can certainly
alter the amount of herbs.
