     Title: Belle's Salisbury Steak

 3      T   butter/margarine
 2      T   cornstarch
 2          beef bouillon cubes or
            -envelopes
 1 1/2  lb  lean ground beef
 1      t   seasoned salt
 4      md  onions, thinly sliced
 1/4    t   salt
 1      t   bottles sauce for gravy
 1 1/2  c   fresh bread crumbs
 1/4    t   pepper

About 40 minutes before serving:  Melt butter in skillet, cook onions until
tender, about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.  Stir in cornstartch, salt,
bouillon, bottles sauce for gravy and 1 1/2 c. water.  Cook stirring
constantly, until mixture is thickened.  Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer
about 10 minutes until the onions aretender.  Keep warm.

In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, bread crumbs, salt , and pepper; shape
into 6 oval patties and cook until desired doneness, turning once.  Pour sauce
over patties.
