     Title: Danish Meatballs

1       lb  lean ground beef
1/2     lb  ground veal or pork
1       t   salt
1/8     t   pepper
1           egg slightly beaten
1       T   grated onion
1/4     c   half and half
1/2     c   soft breadcrumbs
1/8     t   ground allspice

DILL SAUCE:
1/4 cup butter or margarin
1/4 cup flour
2 cups chicken broth
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp dried dill weed
1 cup sour cream

Preheat oven to 375F.  In large bowl, combine and mix all ingredients,
shape in 1-1/2 to 2 inch balls.  Arrange on a rack in broiler pan, bake
20-30 minutes until browned.  Prepare dill sauce below, set aside.
Drain cooked meatballs. Arrange in a chafing dish or heatproof bowl on a
hot tray.  Pour dill sauce over meatballs, serve warm.  Makes 75-80
appetizer servings.

DILL SAUCE:
In saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour, stir in broth, salt and dill
weed.  Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened.  Remove from heat
and stir in sour cream.
