This file contains the Release Information and Overview regarding MAL 1.00.

Description
-----------

MAL is a tool to be use with the association property of Windows' File Manager. Often, there is a need to differentiate between files with the same suffix which are common to many applications (e.g. *.mak files may be used with Visual Basic or Visual C++). In these cases, the user may simply configure MAL to launch one of several applications required or may use a variable browse window to search for an application not yet configured or not often used. MAL will then launch the desired application and specify the file marked to that application.

Usage Suggestions
-----------------

1. *.doc files may be associated to:

	Word for Windows
	Windows Text Editor (notepad.exe)
	DOS Text Editor (edit.exe)
	...other word processor...

2. *.mak files may be associated to:

	Visual Basic 1.0 For DOS
	Visual Basic 3.0 For Windows
	Visual C++
	MASM
	Text Editor (notepad.exe)
	...other programming environments...

3. *.c files may be associated to:

	Visual C++
	Turbo C++
	Windows Text Editor (notepad.exe)
	DOS Text Editor (edit.exe)
	...other programming editors...
