 ͻ
  -=>  Archive information

  * The archive package referenced herein consists of:

FILE_ID .DIZ - brief description for BBS listing
      progname.DOC - program(s) documentation
progname.EXE - executable program, the ONLY necessary file
      progname.PAS - pascal source code
REIGNWAR.TXT - this legal statement and contact information
RW_PROGS.LST - archive names and brief descriptions of my programs
?* .* - other supporting files as needed

  * The original archive is compressed with PKZIP v2.04g, and "sealed" with
the PKZIP (R) Authenticity Verification feature.

If the contents have not been modified, you can use PKUNZIP (version 2)
to test the archive and display the message below. At the DOS prompt,
simply type and enter: "PKUNZIP -t archive".

         Authentic files Verified! # IAU056
         David Daniel Anderson

  * If you suspect this archive may have been subject to malevolent
tampering, or if you wish to receive a current, complete, unmodified
and "guaranteed" virus-free copy, please contact me (see how below).

 ͻ
  -=>  Legal status, warranty

  * Users and distributors of this program consent implicitly to ALL terms
in this document. My primary concern is that you respect my efforts.

  * All files contained in the archive are FREEWARE, copyright (c) 1995 by
their author: David Daniel Anderson. FREEWARE means you can use it and
distribute it freely, but you may NOT alter the contents of the archive
nor may you charge for the program, other than as provided for below.

  * Since this program is licensed absolutely FREE of charge, the author
and copyright holder (David Daniel Anderson) provides absolutely no
warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not
limited to, the implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

  * Although use of this program is genuinely FREE, donations are welcome
to offset the costs of distribution, the Borland Pascal v7.0 compiler,
and various educational aids and development tools. See below.

 ͻ
-=> Usage, modification and distribution policy

  * Distribution of the ORIGINAL archive for profit is not restricted, but
sale or licensing of the program itself is expressly prohibited.

  * Since this program is FREEWARE, it may be used and distributed without
compensation to the author. In addition, the source code may be freely
revised to fix errors, provide enhancements, or create custom versions.

  * HOWEVER, under NO circumstances, may files may be added to, or removed
from, the archive that is distributed to others.

  * Furthermore, other than for a personal copy, the original FILE_ID.DIZ
may NOT be edited or removed! (except to reflect source code changes).

  * Changes may ONLY be made to the FILE_ID.DIZ and .DOC file to reflect
changes made to the source code and newly compiled program. This file
(ReignWar.TXT) MUST always accompany the distributed archive, with all
original text unaltered (the high ASCII headers may be altered).

 ͻ
-=> Revisions, obtaining the latest versions of all my programs

  * I will make bug fixes, revisions and enhancements periodically, if any
are needed or requested. If you make any changes, please notify me of
them so that I may adopt them "officially", and give you proper credit.

  * Anyone may receive the latest versions of all my programs simply by
sending me a floppy disk and return postage. If you send me a disk, I
will be very grateful if you put some _DOS_ freeware, public domain or
shareware files on it - anything which you think I might enjoy!

Persons with non-USA return addresses need not include return postage.

  * Instead of a floppy disk and return postage, you may send two dollars
(US) - cash, check or money order (payable to David Daniel Anderson).
The payment will cover my expenses for a disk, shipping and handling.
