This is a demonstration version of Mathmate for DOS, version 2.0.

Mathmate is, quite simply, the easiest to use mathematical analysis tool
available for the PC. It provides both basic and advanced math tools which
allow data to be entered using data templates or text files. A sample
input file is provided for each method. In addition, Mathmate automatically
saves input template data for future re-use.

Extensive context-sensitive help is available at all levels. Just press
F1 or click on the lower status bar with the mouse.

All outputs are to text files for easy edit and print. Graphing functions
are included. It even has a built in free-form calculator and an embedded
word processor!

Minimum hardware requirements (without hard disk):

IBM PC with 512K RAM (460K free)
	3 1/2" floppy drive

Minimum hardware requirements (with hard disk):

Known Anomalies:

There should be only one type of run-time fault which may be
encountered, error code 205, floating point overflow.

This error occurs when a number grows too large for Mathmate
to handle. Since most numerical methods are iterative, this may happen if
the inputs to a method are very bad. If you get this run time fault, please
check your input data. To aid in analysis, part of the default output file,
DEFAULT.OUT will still have been written to disk and may be viewed either in
the Mathmate editor, or the editor of your choice.

Should this fault occur, the DOS cursor will disappear. This has no
effect on system function. Rebooting your computer will re-enable the
cursor.
