WC Stats History
----------------

NOTE: From v1.3 to v1.5, I have rushed the release of these two versions.
I did not perform much error checking and that's why v1.3 and v1.5 were
not the high quality expected from Lazor Software. I am sorry for the
inconvience. Therefore as of v2.0, more complete error checking will and
      has been performed.

+ - Means addition for that version
* - Means improvement for that version
= - Means bug fix for that version

v1.0 10/01/94 ??:??:?? pm
----
@ Initial release of WC Stats!

v1.2 10/06/94 11:06:38 pm
----
(Oh boy!)

+ Added a new option to the CONFIG file. You can create a bulletin of the
stats just from the current day OR the ENTIRE ACTIVITY log!
+ Added .RIP file support!
+ Added /O option for use with the ENTIRE activity log command (or if you
happen to have a day with 250+ callers!)
+ Added a little counter when you run the program to show what caller WC Stats
is currently on and the amount of free memory.
+ Added stats for: wcCHAT usage, Questionaires Answered, and Comments to Sysop.
* A few cosmetic changes to the output file.

v1.3 2/02/95 5:40:35 pm (BACK AND BADDER IN 1995!)
----

= MINOR changes to the structure of the program. I fixed the bug that would
cause the middle line of the top three (the line with your BBS name) to
  mess up on the spacing.

v1.5 4/16/95 11:00:00 pm
----
(Oh boy...again!)
It's hard to describe all of the fixes, but here goes!

= Strangely wouldn't write all the callers to the output file.
= Sometimes print L0CAL as baud for remote callers
= Exit with an error when completing the file
= If it didn't exit with an error, an extra line of ASCII would be added right
below the last caller to the BBS
= Other minor (some major?) bug fixes that cannot be explained (remembered?)
* I'm 99.9% positive I fixed the little bug that messed up the total amount of
  time the caller was on-line.

v2.0 5/06/95 12:00:00 am (MAJOR RELEASE!!)
----
(Wow!, WoW!, WOW!, WOW!!!)
+ Added /N option. See DOCs.
+ Added ability to edit existing CFG file (if filename is WCSTATS.CFG).
+ Added ability to use WCSTATS.RIP as beginning of RIP file to bypass the
+ Added a feature called "Auto Recovery". This automatically runs each time
when WC Stats is run. If by some reason your ACTIVITY log is not complete
(a caller was on and the computer was turned off or a power failure),
WC Stats will enter ??:?? and ??? for OFF and MINUTES USED, respectively.
When this kind of ACTIVITY log error happens, it will not have all of the
COMPLETE information about a caller (how he/she logged off, etc...)
+ Added stats for BBS Errors, Users forced off by Sysop, 38400+ baud calls
and SLEEP DISCONNECTS (this was never shown as a STAT on the bottom)
+ Added more precise error checking. This will prevent lock-ups a lot more.
* Reordered the lines at the bottom that show the stats. Now looks more
  organized.
= Fixed a big that cause the program to freeze when it encountered the line
"BBS ERROR", "FORCED OFF BY SYSOP" and "READY FOR CALLS" in the ACTIVITY log
* Updated DOCs.
* Speeded up the RIP file output. Now roughly twice as fast!
* Redid the way the TOTAL TIME ON was calculated. Should now be more solid.
* When WC Stats is set for DAILY LOG READING, it will now print "NO CALLERS
YET!" instead of nothing if there are no callers.
= Fixed MINOR bugs for "DROPPED CARRIER" and "NO ACTIVITY"
= Fixed this little "bug" (SECRETS REVEALED!):
(If you don't want to know a lot of DETAILED info on this "bug", don't
      bother reading on...)
When WC Stats scanned for the current date (if setup for DAILY log), it
would go until it found a user that logged on under the current system
date. It would then AUTOMATICALLY add ALL of the rest of the callers in
the ACTIVITY log after that caller. WC Stats will now check EVERYTIME it
finds a new caller if they called on the current system date (this little
"bug" would only show up if you MANUALLY edited the ACTIVITY log file, in
the event you wanted to test the DAILY log feature without any calls for
     that day)

v2.01 5/15/95 8:45:00 pm
-----

+ Added feature to select [O]LD or [N]EW minute calculation feature (read DOCs)
= Fixed the text for "Questionaires Answered" (not all CAPS)
!!! KNOWN BUG !!!
There is ONE bug that I know about that I am trying to fix. If a caller logs
on with part of their name as "[" (not ]), the name will probably screw up
in the listing. My best suggestion is to add a line to your BADNAMES.LST that
  reads:

[*

This will disallow the users to logon when part of their name includes a "["

v2.2 NEVER RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC
----

* This version was a MINOR, MINOR bug fix which I never released because of
  the upcoming v2.5

v2.5 6/02/95 4:00:00 am (YES! In the MORNING!)
----
THE REASON THIS VERSION IS ETA IS BECAUSE OF ALL THE NEW OPTIONS AND THE FACT
THAT MY COMPUTER HAS BEEN DOING SOME WiLD STUFF LATELY. SO FAR IT HAS DONE OK.

+ Added ability to turn on/off the addition of the 25+ STATS to the output file
+ Added ability to turn on/off the LAST CALLERS output to the output file.
+ Redid the CFG file structure. MUST READ DOCs! So many options were added that
to increase the ease of use I added the usage of a [KEYWORD=] to each line.
+ Added ability to control if @CLS@ or @PAUSE@ codes were added to the output
  file.
+ Added ability to turn on/off the line saying "REPORT FOR: <date>" (this was
  a request by a user).
+ Added ability to exclude specific users from the OUTFILE.
+ Added ability to exclude specific security levels from the OUTFILE.
+ Added ability to limit the number of LAST CALLERS listed.
= Fixed LOCAL LOGONS line when you entered "N" in the CFG file.
= Fixed BBS ERROR line when you entered "N" in the CFG file.
= Fixed BBS ERROR spacing error.
= Other bugs here and there (about 2 or 3). Not worth mentioning.

v2.52 6/08/95 11:15:00 pm
------
= Only thing new is that the wcMAIL DLs & ULs actually WORK (eta testing)!
