Version 1.3b
*** Added the ability for NOTIFIER to see if it's currently running and if
     so, to terminate immediately.

09/07/94
--------
Version 1.3c
*** Now looks for the NOTIFIER environment variable to locate it's .CFG file
No longer needs to be run from it's NOTIFIER directory, as long as the
NOTIFIER program is located in the system's path.

10/01/94
--------
Version 1.3d
*** Added command line option -MAINT to allow for internal handling of copying
the USER.DAT file, converting it. BUG REPORT! It has been brought to my
attention that UEXPORT has a problem with Netware networks, it seems that
the USER.OUT file created on Netware networks are all jumbled up for some
reason. I tested it at a local business, and it does indeed do this. A
quick fix is, if one of your nodes has a local Hard Drive, copy the
USER.DAT file to it's local drive, convert it there and then copy the
USER.OUT to the Notifier directory. It's a pain, but works. I'll be
contacting Mark Krieg to see if he has any ideas why it's happening.

10/15/94
--------
Version 1.4
*** No longer needs the program UEXPORT to run. Converts the database on
it's own and speeds up searches by 50% This also removes the problem
     experienced on Netware networks.

10/16/94
Version 1.4a
*** Discovered a bug in my code that would cause Notifier to lock up if
     Logging wasn't on. Fixed.

10/18/94
Version 1.4b
*** Added Duplicate message checking.

10/29/94
Version 1.4c
*** Discovered bug when using -MAINT option that would cause program to lock.
     Fixed.

01/09/95
Version 1.4d
*** Some users had problems with non-standard USER.DAT files, Synchronet
Notifier now uses the NAME.DAT file located in the USER directory for
searches. Some user have said that they liked the multiple notifications
because it let them know how many games they had turns in, this options is
     now configurable in the NOTIFIER.CFG.
