                **** What's New In Microqwk ****

Microqwk ver 1.2e
December 1993

 Spitfire BBS Features
MicroQwk now supports the "Delete Previous" feature, an
exclusive feature of Spitfire Bulletin Board Systems copyright
by Buffalo Creek Software. If Microqwk detects that the current
Qwk packet is from a Spitfire BBS, the user will be asked if
they would like to delete the "previous" (reference) message
that they are replying to. This feature only applies if you
are replying to a message, and is not available when you choose
to "Send" a message.
MicroQwk in conjunction with Lakota version 1.1i now
allows mail entered in a Net configured conference to remain
on the local echo by choosing Local Echo when sending and replying
to messages.

 CircuitNet 3.10 routed Mail
MicroQwk allows CircuitNet 3.10 routed mail when replying
to a CircuitNet 3.10 message. Currently CircuitNet software is
being revised and new versions will not use routing information
in the subject header. MicroQwk will be updated when the new
version of CircuitNet is released and new routing specifications
are released.

 Formatted Replies
Formatted Output on replies is available from the Configuration
Menu. If you toggle formatted output on, you will be asked for
the line length for your output and for the length to break for
a paragraph. MicroQwk defaults to 70 character line length and
58 for break length. You may also change these format parameters
from Qwk Mail by pressing ALT - F6.
Microqwk will not format commented text but will reproduce those
lines without break.

Microqwk ver 1.3b
February 1994

MicroQwk now supports the creation of an .SDR (Spitfire Deletion Record)
file. Previous versions of MicroQwk and Lakota were limited to the deletion
of a message in the users message queue if that message was being replied to.
MicroQwk now can tag messages that you wish to delete from your message
queue, but are not important enough to reply to. Pressing F8 toggles the
inclusion of that message in the .SDR file that is included in the reply
packet sent to the Spitfire board. Lakota will then process this file
when the packet is unzipped and read.
With this feature it was also necessary to change the internal record keeping
on the status of each message, so as an addition several improvments were made
in their display while in the Qwk Mail viewer.

A small bit of code was added that allows MicroQwk to be run from the Dos
Path statement.

NOTE :
If you have a copy of Microqwk previous to version 1.2b, you should
re-configure and save your new configuration before attempting to run
this version !
