THE MAZE OF NARZABUR is a single-player graphic adventure game
in the spirit of Dungeons & Dragons (tm). The player becomes
an adventurer who has entered an ancient, legendary labyrinth
in search of treasure, pitting his or her life against the
traps and malefic creatures as well as the very maze itself -
for the entrance is one-way, and there is only one path through
the maze which leads to the exit. Features of THE MAZE OF
NARZABUR include full-screen machine-language graphics, sound
effects and music, scrolling overhead display, magic treasures,
wandering monsters, four difficulty levels, permanent high
score tables and save/restore game to disk. The game consists
of two files, NARZABUR/BAS (the main program & machine language
subroutines) and NARZABUR/DAT (a graphics file), and will
create a third file, NARZABUR/HIS (high score tables) upon
being run (you need 2 free grans for this file).
