What follows is a detailed explanation of the menu prompts.
Press <F1> to return to the main menu.

                          --------------
                          <L>ookup an ID
                          --------------

This option allows you to search the record files for one of the
3-character loaction ID codes, as used by the National Weather Service
(as well as the FAA).

There are two ways to search for a code: by ID or by record number.

STOP
                          SEARCHING BY ID
                          ---------------

You may search for a single ID by entering a known 3-character code.
You may also do a partial search by entering 1 or 2 characters. In this case,
the program will search for ALL codes beginning with those characters.

For example, entering "D" will return ALL codes beginning with "D".

Also, by not entering anything (just hit ENTER), the complete list of
ID codes will be display.

STOP
                          SEARCHING BY RECORD #
                          ---------------------

After using the program for a while, you may begin to remember some of
the more frequently looked-up codes and their associated record number. All
codes can be accessed directly if the record number is known.

This may be desireable to check which type of forecast is provided by a
specific location.

STOP
                          -----------------
                          <S>earch-by-State
                          -----------------

When accessing this option, you will be asked whether you wish to see
a list of abbreviations of the States and Canadian Provinces. (This question
can be bypassed by pressing <F1> at the main menu.)

You will then be prompted for the state you wish to search. Enter the
two-letter abbreviation for the state/province desired.

A second prompt allows you to narrow the search to those locations that
provide a specific type of forecast, such as Weather Warnings. Just enter the
two-letter forecast code to do same, or press ENTER for all locations.

Also, by pressing ENTER at the first prompt, you can display the entire
list of codes and locations, and THAT list can also be narrowed to a particular
type of forecast!

STOP
                          ------------------
                          <C>orrect an Entry
                          ------------------

There is always the chance that I have missed an error in the data for
one or more of the locations, or that it may be changed in the future. This
option allows any record to be corrected/changed.

The location to be changed is accessed in same manner as in looking-up a
code. The line is displayed as usual, with the cursor positioned under the
first letter in the record. Use the arrow keys to position the cursor to the
text to be corrected, type in the new text, and press <F1>. The new data is
saved to disk and the old is gone forever... so be careful!

STOP
                                 ------
                                 <Q>uit
                                 ------

                       Self explanatory, isn't it?

STOP
                          ----------------------
                          <F1> Toggle State-list
                          ----------------------

Allows the bypassing of the Yes/No prompt in the Search-By-State
option. <F1> alternately turns the question on and off.

                          ------------------------
                          <F2> Toggle Code Display
                          ------------------------

At the end of each listing of codes, the forecast codes, as displayed
in the listing, are diaplayed. This can be annoying when doing many searches.
This switch toggles the forecast codes display on and off
