                      MEMSYS/SRC
============================================================
MEMSYS/SRC is source code for a program that will cut down load & access time to Model III TRSDOS 1.3 system overlays, but most important to me is that it will allow use of drive 0 without a system disc in that drive. For example, data discs can be read from drive 0, once this program is run, thereby reducing the need for three drives in some instances, or eliminating the awkward method of single drive copying between two data discs.

Although intended for Mod 4 128k in Model III mode the source code is set up for all the following:
          Model 4 128k
          Model 4 64k
          Model 4P 128k
          Model 4P 64k
          Model 3 48k
Alter the source code by changing the appropriate "REM" statements and then assemble using "ALDS" or similar assembler. Radio Shack's EDTASM will not recognize some of the commands, although I did use EDTASM to key in the program. I have NOT assembled and/or run this program yet, so cannot be sure that it will do what it's supposed to or if there are any bugs in it.

The program is from the Aug 1984 issue of 80 MICRO magazine. It is by Craig Chaiken and the name of the article is "DOS DIVERSIONS". See the article for for complete documentation.
