PROTECT/CMD

Written by Jeffrey S. Kline

This program is just a simple file that you AUTO boot up and you cannot
get past it until you enter the correct username and password.
Initially, it has two modes of operation. The first is just booting up
and sitting until someone enters the correct username and password that
matches what is in the code. The second mode is typed as follows,

PROTECT $ <enter>

This invokes the modification routines to allow you to change the username
and password for use on a given disk.
The second method is just to invoke it via,

PROTECT <enter>

The only way this system is to function properly for you is that you must
put it on your disk and invoke it via an unbreakable or unbypassable AUTO
command. This way, you cannot get past it until you enter the correct
information and you arrive at TRSDOS Ready. Once at TRSDOS Ready, you can
re-invoke it to change the logon sequence. Once that is done, you will be
returned to TRSDOS Ready, not back to the program. Also, if you decide to
use this program, you must hide your origional or any system disks that
do not have this program on it and put this on all system disks that are
around for use. This way, you can keep your kids and possibly any other
person out of your program disk(s).
It is now in the PD for you to use.... Enjoy!
