	QNOS (KA9Q) QUICK SETUP NOTES
This version of NOS is one of the fastest manual ftp and telnet programs
I have used, and is worth adding to any DOS arsenal.

   Step 1: download the file
   Step 2: make a directory C:\dialnet or D:\dialnet or E:\dialnet
Step 3: place the file in \dialnet
   Step 4: run QNOS-e0?.exe /y ( /y automatically creates subdirectories)

Step 5: run setupNOS.bat (checks for update or new installation)
( This is equivalent to newuser.bat in Bobcat)
BEFORE PROCEEDING TO STEP 6 "QUICK SETUP" MAKE SURE YOU
  HAVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AVAILABLE.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT CHECK WITH YOUR PROVIDER
  1. Your Comport (1,2,3 or 4)
  2. Your modem init string
  3. Your Providers "Internet" Phone Number
  4. Your Login or User Name (usually all to left of @ sign )
  5. Your Login Password
  6. Your Provider's Nameserver Address #1 (eg 201.80.60.1)
  7. Your Provider's Nameserver Address #2 (eg 201.80.60.100)

Step 6. Make sure each of the above is entered correctly in setupNOS.bat
Step 7. Dial your IP using the QNOSdial.bat in your dialnet directory.

Note: This is a preliminary package to show you how NOS can be used to
telnet or ftp to any site. Some of the autosetup features in our other
programs have not yet been implemented, notably , the domain
entry and addserver lines in autoexec.net must be entered manually .
