ESCAPE FROM SECBASE II
The First "Homebrewed" replacement level for LucasArts' Dark Forces.

This Level is to be distributed at NO charge, Please do not upload a partial file, Only the complete file including all the files listed below. This Level took MANY hours to develop so Do Not Alter, modify or damage these file without consent of the developer.

Included in this file:
File_id.diz
Secbase.o
Secbase.inf
Secbase.lev
Readme.txt (this file)

How to use this file:
Dark forces searches your harddrive startup directory for these types of files before going to your CD's Dark.gob. Place the .o, .inf and .lev into your startup directory and enter the game as normal, Go to Secbase (level 1). When you are tired of this level just remove it from your startup directory, it will not overwrite or damage your game in any way. Do not worry about the difficulty setting I did not make any setting different, you will have to deal with ALL that I have thrown at you!
I opted not to have the game recognize any goals so it can not be used to get you through any existing level you are having trouble with.

The Story:
After a long battle the Empire has captured your ship, you have so far evaded them, But now you must get your ship back to escape from this Imperial base. Your mission, find the Key that will get your ship back.

Known bugs:
On many machines there may be a problem with distant sectors distorting, but as you get closer they will come into focus, some areas in this level are larger than anything in the actual game and I am having trouble correcting this bug. It should not effect game play and as soon as I have it figured out I will make a new version.

Corrections for version 1.1:
I believe I have figured how to combat most of the distant sector distortions and have corrected those I have found. If you detect any major bugs that effect game play please let me know.

I will develop more levels in the future and would appreciate any input. Graphic sketchs of level ideas would be very helpful, My Architectural Education Makes it easier to understand in most instances.
