MakeItSo Software and TDA announce the release of Mordor - the first Windows
Fantasy Role Playing (FRP) game of its magnitude to be released! Mordor is
a sophisticated FRP game that requires intelligent participation from its
players. Mordor captivates those who play with its rich world full of
hundreds of rooms, creatures, artifacts, and treasures to be explored and
discovered. Designed after one of the largest multi-user FRP games in the
world, Mordor was built to be played and enjoyed for hundreds and even
thousands of hours! Mordor is engaging for players new to the world of
FRP games. However, with features such as character interaction,
multi-character parties, companions, hundreds of items, monsters and magical
spells, Mordor gives even the most devoted FRP players a formidable and
intriguing world to explore. Experienced players participating in the
pre-release tuning of the game coined Mordor "the most addicting game
since the original Wizardry". The world of Mordor is one that new or
experienced FRP players will find captivating. Featuring a vast
underworld known as the Depths of Dejenol, it is the task of players
to create characters from a wide variety of races and to train the
characters in the special skills needed to survive and prosper in the
underworld. As players explore the underworld, they will learn about the
dark creatures that inhabit the shadows, magical artifacts that can save or
enhance a character, and dreadful and magical attacks that can end a
characters life. Con't A Windows application, Mordor features 256 color
graphics, multiple musical tracks (digital with proper sound cards), vivid
sound FX, extensive on-line help, a full on-line tutorial, Auto-Sizing to
adjust the game display to any screen resolution, and full mouse interaction
including drag and drop. The requirements for Mordor are: 4 Megs RAM, 6.5 Meg
Free hard disk space, 256 color VGA or Super VGA video, a 386/33 or faster.
8 Megs RAM, a sound card, and speakers are recommended. Mordor is not heavy
on graphics, rather it focuses on building a phenomenally rich gaming
environment that can last as long as a player wishes. It will be a long
time before another FRP game of this type and magnitude is released, so
dig in and enjoy Mordor... but, be prepared for staying up hours after you
should be in bed... be prepared for having a great time... be prepared for
Mordor!
