                               ATOMIUM VERSION 1.0

This is version 1.0 of ATOMIUM. I found that it could be a good idea to
give the opportunity to belgian people ( as I am ) to find a good known
reference object in his flying surrounding.
Atomium is typical in the Brussels landscape. As typical as "Manneke Pis",
but you cannot see the "little boy" from your Cessna. Therefore, land at
Zaventem airport, find a taxi, and go to our beautiful city of Brussels.

I. WHAT'S INCLUDED

   README.TXT - This is it.
ATOMIUM.BGL- Scenery including the Atomium and some basic scenery making
this compatible with EURBGL2, and especially with the very
little implemented surroundings of Brussels-Zaventem airport.
ATOMIUM.STN- Situation. So you must no longer search.

II. INSTALLING FILES

Copy ATOMIUM.BGL to your FS5 SCENERY subdirectory and ATOMIUM.STN in your
   PILOTS subdirectory.

III. WARRANTY

There is no warranty of any kind written or implied included with this
scenery against damage or conflict with other FS5 scenery of any kind.
My english is also without warranty. If there is something you cannot
understand, please feel free to ask any explanation in flemish ( dutch )
or in french ( that was a joke ! ).

IV. WHAT IS THE ATOMIUM ?

The Atomium was build as the symbol of the World Exposition of
Brussels, in 1958. Its height is 102.70 m (337 ft).
It represents a crystal of iron, with eight bowls at the vertices
and one at the center of a cube.
The most important conceptor of the Atomium was A.Waterkeyn, a
        belgian engineer.
The upper bowl contains a famous restaurant.

V. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
It is due to the hard work of those listed below and many others that
this very little database is made possible.

     HIROO UMENO - BGLCOMP compiler

OLIVIER BRIOT - For his many suggestion contained within his scenery
design document and his great BGL2BGS decompiler.
I'm looking for FSC, his own compiler.

MANFRED MOLDENHAUER - (FSOFFS) a position calculator.
The manual of his SCASM compiler was very
usefull for the understanding of some automatic
vector calculations for the bowls and the pipes.

Please report any problems for correction. All comments will be welcomed.
Thank you in advance for any help given.
