available when the manual was printed. It 
includes a new technical support phone number &
extra information on upgrading from version 1.x 
of MyAdvancedInvoices for Windows.

UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION OF MYINVOICES


WINDOWS Users:

If you are upgrading from a previous version of
MyInvoices for Windows, use the Open command 
(under the File menu) to open your existing 
files and update them for this version.

If MyInvoices is unable to update the file, 
restart Windows and try to open the file again.

If you are upgrading from version 1.x of 
MyAdvancedInvoices, there is an initial display 
problem, where some entries may show incorrect 
amounts, in the Register. To refresh the Register
so it shows the correct amounts, follow these 
steps:

  1. In the EDIT menu, select Go To First.
     (this will display the first invoice
      in the Data Entry window)

  2. In the Data Entry window, click on the 
     down arrow at the bottom of the right-hand 
     scroll bar (this will display the next invoice)

  3. Hold the mouse button down while pointing at
     this arrow until all of your invoices have 
     scrolled through the window and a blank 
     invoice is displayed. 

The Register should now reflect the correct 
amounts. You will not have to repeat this 
procedure.


DOS Users:

Use the Import command (under the File menu) to 
copy the data from your DOS version of MyInvoices
or MyAdvancedInvoices into this Windows version.
