Congratulations on your purchase of "Your Personal Trainer for the
SAT"! To supply you with up-to-the-minute information, we have
included the following comments.

This CD-ROM contains an SAT video clip. This video contains a brief
overview of the program, but it is not essential for full functioning
of the program. In order to view the SAT Overview video clip, you
must have Microsoft Video for Windows installed on your hard drive.

You will be given the opportunity to install Microsoft Video for
Windows 1.1 (requiring 2.2 MB of free hard disk space) immediately
after you have installed the YPTSAT program. To install Microsoft
Video for Windows 1.1 at a later time:

o	Start Windows as usual.

o	Insert the YPTSAT CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive
	(e.g., drive D).

o	Select Run ... from the Program Manager File menu.

o	Type D:\vfw1_1\setup and press ENTER or click OK.

o	Follow the directions on screen.

Tandy Sensation Users

Tandy's WinMate system does not automatically create an icon or
launch our program. We suggest disabling WinMate and running
directly from Windows. (If you have further questions about Tandy's
WinMate, please call Tandy Technical Support at (817) 878-6875.)

Exit WinMate and return to the DOS prompt.

At the DOS prompt, change to your Windows directory
(i.e., type cd windows and press ENTER).

If you are using DOS 3.3 or 4: Edit the system files
	using DOS edlin commands.

If you are using DOS 5.0 or higher: From within your
Windows directory, type edit system.ini and press ENTER.

From with the DOS editor, look for the line
Shell=Desktop.exe. Edit it to read Shell=Progman.exe
(to re-enable WinMate, you must re-edit the sys.ini file,
	reversing the shell commands above).

From the File menu, select Save.

From the File menu, select Exit and then reboot your machine.

You will now see the Windows Program Manager. Please follow our
instructions for installing and running the program, which are
included in your manual.

PC TOOLS VSAFE and MS-DOS VSAFE

PC Tools VSAFE or MS-DOS 6.0 VSAFE may interfere with the install
process. To disable VSAFE before installing "Your Personal Trainer
for the SAT", exit Windows; at the DOS prompt, type VSAFE /U, then
press ENTER.

You may also press ALT+V to access the Vsafe menu, and then press
ALT+U to disable.

When you restart your computer after installing "Your Personal
Trainer for the SAT", you may turn VSAFE back on.

SCREEN DISPLAY

Some Windows Screen display drivers may cause erratic behavior under
certain conditions. Symptoms include cut off text or black lines on-screen,
or an Application Error or Exception Error message in 800 X 600
16-color mode. If you experience any of the above symptoms or any
other sort of unusual screen activity, try switching to the standard
Windows VGA mode from the Program Manager.

These are the video cards that may cause unusual behavior in certain
circumstances when running "Your Personal Trainer for the SAT":

			Diamond Speed Star
			HT216 Local Bus VGA Controller
			ATI
			Orchid
			Paradise

To change your video display mode to Windows VGA:

o	From the Program Manager, double-click the Windows Setup icon
	in the Main group.

o	From the Options menu on the Windows Setup box, select Change
	System Settings.

o	Click the arrow at the far right of the word "Display".
You will see a list of video drivers. (Write down the current
display driver in case you wish to change back at a later
	time.)

o	Scroll through the list until you see the word "VGA".

o	Double-click "VGA" and follow any screen prompts.
Windows may ask you to insert a disk(s) that came with
	your original Windows package.

For more information about video display drivers, please consult your Windows
documentation.

IF THE PROGRAM IS VERY SLOW

If "Your Personal Trainer for the SAT" is running slowly on your
machine, follow the steps above to change your video mode to standard
VGA.
