QuickVerse Hebrew and Greek Transliterated Bible Installation November 1992
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for purchasing this Hebrew and Greek Transliterated Bible add-on
module for use with QuickVerse.

This installation disk can be used to install the Hebrew and Greek
Transliterated Bible product for use with either QuickVerse 2.0 (for DOS) or
QuickVerse for Windows. The installation process is the same regardless of
whether or not you are installing for use with the DOS or the Windows product.

    drive A: (or B:).

2. Type

        A:INSTALL (or B:INSTALL)

    and press Enter.

3. Follow the instructions that appear on your screen to complete the
    installation process.

    drive A: (or B:).

2. Select "Run" from the Program Manager File menu.

3. Type

        A:INSTALL (or B:INSTALL)

    and click on OK.

Installation Problem Resolution
-------------------------------

1. If you are using a color grapics card and a monochrome monitor, such as
is commonly used in laptop computers, you may find it difficult to read
the instructions displayed during the installation. If so, start the
INSTALL program using the "bw" option. Type

                INSTALL BW

2. The following error messages, or something similar, may occur during the
    installation of this product.

"An unexpected comment beginning at line XXX swallowed the entire
        script file."

"A syntax error occurred at line XXX. Unexpected X."

These errors typically occur if the Installation Disk has been prematurely
removed from the floppy disk drive. The installation program will prompt
you when it is necessary to swap floppy disks. Do not swap disks at any
    other time.

These errors may also occur if you are installing to the same disk drive
that contains the installation program. For example, if you are
installating from the A: drive you may not also install to the A: drive.

3. If you are installing to a Bernoulli drive, or other type of removable
hard disk, and a message similar to

If you have not already done so, please label a blank
formatted disk "QuickVerse 2.0 Working Disk #1".

After the disk is labeled, please replace the disk in
drive C: with the disk "QuickVerse 2.0 Working Disk #1".

appears, then a file called DISK.ID exists in the root directory of the
Bernoulli disk. Delete this file and restart the installation. You will
need to check for this file, and delete it if necessary, each time that
you want to start the installation.

4. The error message

Invalid disk change reading drive A.
        Please insert...

is caused by the DOS Share command. In the unlikely event that this
message is encountered, remove the DOS Share command, reboot, and try the
    installation again.

5. If you are using MS-DOS version 5.0 or newer, and a "packed file corrupted
error" is reported on the INSTALL.EXE file, then start the installation
    program by typing

        A:
        LOADFIX INSTALL

As with item 4, it is unlikely that this error will occur with this
    version of the installation program.

Copying your Original Disks to a Different Disk Size
----------------------------------------------------

If it is necessary for you to copy your original disks to disks of a different
size -- for instance, copying your original 5-1/4" disks to 3-1/2" disks --
then you should make a one-to-one copy of each disk. That is, you should copy
all files from one original disk to a new, blank disk, then repeat the process
for the second disk, and so on. When complete, you should have one new disk
for each original disk.

Due to the size of the compressed files, it is not possible to copy the
original 3-1/2" disk to low-density 5-1/4" disks. If you need to copy from
3-1/2" disks to 5-1/4" disks, you must use high-density 5-1/4" disks. If your
computer does not have high-density 5-1/4" capability, contact Parsons
Technology Technical Support Department to obtain replacement disks.

                This concludes the README information.

We hope that you have found this additional
                information helpful.
