Thanks for registering POPOUT-PRO. POPOUT-PRO has been
designed specifically for the user who wants all of the ease
and capability of POPOUT-LITE, plus the additional flexibility
and power to create print-quality stereogram images.

If you haven't yet installed POPOUT-PRO onto your hard disk,
you can do so by clicking on the "File" pulldown in the Program
Manager Window, then click on "Run". Type the command A:\INSTALL.

This diskette contains the following files:
README.TXT - This file.
INSTALL.EXE - The POPOUT Install utility.
INSTALL.INF - The POPOUT Install Information file.
POPPRO.EXE - POPOUT-PRO executable
POPPRO.HLP - POPOUT-PRO Help File
POPOUT.PAL - This is a Paintbrush palette file, used to redefine the
Paintbrush palette to use POPOUT-PRO colors.
DEPTH1.BMP - This is a simple 16-color depth image created using
Paintbrush. It can be used as is as a POPOUT depth
               image.
DEPTH2.BMP - This is a 256-color greyscale image in BMP format.
This is a depth image with a diamond shaped design.
We've included this in BMP format so Paintbrush can read it,
but you must use BMP2TGA to convert it to Targa format so
that it can be read as a valid POPOUT Depth Image. Type:
               BMP2TGA DEPTH2.BMP DEPTH2.TGA
or just run the RUNME.BAT batch file (see below)
DEPTH3.BMP - This is a 256-color greyscale image in BMP format.
This is a depth image of a teapot. The image was
created using Alexander Enzmann's POLYRAY ray tracer.
This is a small image (so it would fit on the diskette).
When you run POPOUT, you may want to set the Output Scale
parameter to 2 or 3 to generate a nicer image.
We've included this in BMP format so Paintbrush can read it,
but you must use BMP2TGA to convert it to Targa format so
that it can be read as a valid POPOUT Depth Image. Type:
               BMP2TGA DEPTH3.BMP DEPTH3.TGA
or just run the RUNME.BAT batch file (see below)
DEPTH4.BMP - This is a 256-color greyscale image in BMP format.
This is a depth image of a man walking. The image was
created using Alexander Enzmann's POLYRAY ray tracer.
The man was designed by Will Wagner.
This is a small image (so it would fit on the diskette).
When you run POPOUT, you may want to set the Output Scale
parameter to 2 or 3 to generate a nicer image.

               BMP2TGA DEPTH4.BMP DEPTH4.TGA
or just run the RUNME.BAT batch file (see below)
DEPTH5.BMP - This is a 256-color greyscale image in BMP format.
This is a depth image of a woman. The image was
created using Alexander Enzmann's POLYRAY ray tracer.
The woman was designed by Will Wagner.

or just run the RUNME.BAT batch file (see below)
RUNME.BAT - This is a simple batch file that will convert the
DEPTH2 through DEPTH5 BMP files to TGA format.
CFLD1.BMP - This is a sample, 256-color image suitable as a colorfield.
CFLD2.BMP - This is another sample colorfiled image.

CLFD5.BMP - Yet another colorfield image.
CLFD6.BMP - Yet another colorfield image.
CLFD7.BMP - Yet another colorfield image.
PLY2POP.EXE - This is a DOS command line utility for converting
a POLYRAY-generated image to something POPOUT can use
as a Source File. See PLY2POP.TXT.
PLY2POP.TXT - Text file that describes PLY2POP.EXE
BMP2TGA.EXE - This is a simple DOS command utility for converting
BMP formatted files to Targa. You'll need to run
this utility to convert DEPTH2.BMP, DEPTH3.BMP,
DEPTH4.BMP and DEPTH5.BMP to Targa format before you
can use the images with popout.
BMP2TGA.TXT - Text file describing BMP2TGA.EXE
TGA2BMP.EXE - This is a simple DOS command utility for converting
               Targa formatted files to BMP.
