My name is Captain Jean Paul DeSkette, great-great grandson of the legendary Captain Jean C. DeSkette. Introduce yourself, and tell me of your travels." Before you can begin, he says, "I know of the perils you have endured to find us. Your hard work will be rewarded if you swear to keep our hiding place a secret." You agree, and Captain DeSkette starts his tale. "My great-great grandfather was the last to actually sail the seas and bring riches to the poor. Several times he narrowly escaped being caught until deciding to end his days of pirating. Because many of his band had a price on their heads, he decided to find a secret place of their own on this island. The first village was built to the southwest of here. A volcano erupted nearby, destroying their huts. After relocating underground, a few of the band continued to visit civilization in disguise, bringing in items and technology from the outside world. Now, we have our own Utopia, of sorts. We want no encroachment of the outside world. We will reward you with the fabled treasure, if you take it and swear to keep our secret. You are nearly speechless as a huge cart full of treasure and priceless artifacts is wheeled in. You have reached the end of your long journey and may now depart for home.
