You are on a beach on the far north side of the island.  Another island is barely visible off to the northeast.  Continuing on, you discover an abandoned campsite.  A pot of stale coffee sits on a wire rack over the fire.  You see nothing else of interest here.

You enter a lagoon and see a canoe tied to a dock.  Waiting in the boat is a native boatsman.  You ask him for a ride and he replies, "Of course, but only if you pay me by performing a task."

The smell of fertilized soil fills the air as you gaze across rows of crops, ready for harvest.  A native farmer is hard at work.  As she welcomes you, you notice that her gaze falls to your feet.  You tell of your search and she refers you to her chief.  She then tells you that she will reveal where he is if you answer a question.

After walking some distance, you enter the edge of what looks like a native village.  You ask a family nearby to tell you how you might meet the chief.  They resist at first, unsure of your intentions, but then decide to offer you a chance to gain their help.

As you look for the chief, you find a native with more colorful attire than the others.  He introduces himself as the chief of these people as he stares at your shoes.  The chief tells you that he will trade information in exchange for your Jammer hi-tops.  Since you have a spare set of hi-tops, you consider the chief's proposal.  They are, however, your favorite, well worn pair of red hi-tops.

The chief looks disappointed at your choice to keep the shoes.  He says that you will never find the pirates without his information.  He says, "I will be waiting here, should you change your mind."

You walk along a beach, noticing a brightly colored surfboard wedged in the sand near some rocks.  Upon closer inspection, you see a symbol of a key carved on the board.

You enter a clearing where you see crumbling steps and columns, the remains of some ancient building.  Taking a closer look, you find a stone tablet with words in an ancient language.  To decipher the writing, answer this question.

You walk along rocky hills at the foot of some tall mountains.  As you pass through a narrow crevice, a rock slide blocks the path behind you.  The crevice narrows and there seems to be no exit.  Etched on the wall are the words, "Answer this question and a path will be opened."  (You must answer this question correctly to continue).

The shade in the jungle shields you from the tropical sun.  It looks like someone else liked this spot at one time.  Inside the hut, the floor is littered with straw and sticks.  In the mess is a locked scroll.

You tug at the machines door handle, but it is shut tight.  Try clicking on the vending machine handle again.  Remember to use your left mouse button.

You are on the southern coast on one of the Silicon Islands.  As far as you can see, the island curves to the east.  In front of you, you find traces of an old campfire.  Beyond the campfire, a worn path extends into the jungle.  You see nothing else of interest here.  To explore the island, select a direction by clicking on the appropriate arrow key in the lower right.  Don't forget to look at the map in the lower right above the arrows. 





Frame 44
Walking along the beach, you discover a beached dolphin.  To your surprise, he speaks:  "Hi stranger," he says, "My name is Blue and I have a slight problem.  Would you please move me back into the water?  Moving me back into the water is like moving a window in Windows."
Q:  Move the Games window by clicking on the title bar and dragging it to another location and I will move back into the water and be free to swim again (Hint:  It's blue like me).  If you will help me do this, I will give you a clue that may help you find what you are looking for."

The sand on this beach is extremely soft and white.  It is so white, in fact, that the reflection of the sun blinds you.  This problem, however, is easily solved as you slip on your sunglasses. Yuck!  Looking down in disgust, you notice mud from this marsh messing up your favorite pair of Jammer hi-tops.
